President Donald Trump reacted on Tuesday to the news that former President Joe Biden was going to Hollywood after signing with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a mega talent and sports agency.
Speaking to members of the press from the Oval Office, Trump was asked about Biden’s signing by the Hollywood talent group.
“You gotta be kidding. He signed on with a talent agency? Trump told the media. “I think he’s got bigger problems than that. I really do. I think he’s got much bigger problems than that. But I wish him well.”
“We inherited a mess,” he added. “This place is a mess. But it’s quickly being solved. We’re going to make America great again.”

Richard Lovett, co-chairman of CAA, told The Hollywood Reporter, “President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs. His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
Following his eight-year run as former President Barack Obama’s vice president, Biden signed on with CAA from 2017-2020. During that time, Biden released a book about his son Beau Biden’s battle with cancer, “Promise Me, Dad,” and also went out on a speaking tour across the country that sold 85,000 tickets, the outlet noted. Obama and his wife Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions is also repped by the talent agency.
Lovett was one of the many backers in Hollywood for Biden’s second presidential run, which eventually became former Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed run for the White House, after losing to President Donald Trump.
Trump wasn’t the only person who reacted to the Biden news, with people on social media wondering aloud what in the world the former president would be doing for the mega agency or movie roles he could possibly land.
“Joe Biden signed with a Hollywood agency yesterday … true story,” one person wrote. “The destroyer in chief has decided his next career is acting instead of Walmart greeter.”
“Do I hear a reboot of ‘Weekend At Bernie’s’ Coming?” the person added. “Or ‘Walking Dead’? Or ‘Dumbest and Dumbester’ with his old pal Kammy? Open to suggestions.”
Another person wrote, “Joe Biden has signed with Creative Artists Agency, a Hollywood talent agency. He apparently wants to go make movies. Since he can’t distinguish fantasy from reality, good place for him. Personally, I don’t care where he goes.”
