Biden: Obama Asked Me To Be His Vice President In 2020

President Joe Biden said in an interview that aired this week that former President Barack Obama asked him to be his running mate in 2020, which was during the Trump administration.

Biden made the remarks during an interview on Complex’s “360 With Speedy” that was taped late last week.

Biden said, “But I didn’t plan on running because when I, in 2020, when I, my, when Barack asked me to be vice president, I, uh, I, I joined him, which was a great honor and, uh, but after that I became a professor at the University of Pennsylvania.”

The 81-year-old was asked by Obama to be his vice president in 2008 and he served in the role for both terms and left office in January 2017.

Biden has faced widespread calls to quit his presidential campaign amid obvious signs of serious cognitive decline and motor issues.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
