Elon Musk To Attend Netanyahu’s Congressional Address As Israeli PM’s Guest

Elon Musk will attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s joint address to Congress Wednesday afternoon as a guest of the prime minister.

Last year, Musk and Netayahu visited Kfar Aza, an Israeli kibbutz where civilians were massacred and taken hostage by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

“It was jarring to see the scene of the massacres as well as to see the short film afterwards that showed more of innocent people getting killed,” Musk said in an X Space with Netanyahu after the visit.

“It was troubling in that movie, especially to see the joy experienced by people that were killing innocent civilians, including kids and babies and defenseless people essentially,” Musk added. “It’s one thing if, obviously, if civilians die, accidentally, but it’s another thing to revel in the joy of killing civilians. That’s evil.”

Netanyahu’s speech, which is set for 2:00 p.m. EST, is part of the prime minister’s effort to gain bipartisan support in his war against Hamas and effort to combat Iranian aggression. Fifty lawmakers, mostly Democrats, will be boycotting the speech.

Musk announced that he deployed Starlink to a Gazan hospital on Tuesday with the support of Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
