EXCLUSIVE: Biden-Harris Admin Let Illegal Alien Rape Suspect Into U.S., Report Finds

An illegal alien charged with raping a teenage girl and brutally stabbing a man was released into the United States by the Biden-Harris administration, a House Judiciary Committee report exclusively obtained by The Daily Wire reveals.

Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, a 19-year-old Honduran national illegally present in the United States, was arrested by the Kenner Lousiana Police Department in connection to the rape of a 14-year-old girl and the stabbing of a man during a robbery in February. According to the House Judiciary Committee, Castellanos-Orellana was released into the country by the Biden-Harris administration.

“On October 6, 2023, Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, a national of Honduras, was encountered by Border Patrol in Eagle Pass, Texas,” the report reads. “Despite the fact that the alien ‘claim[ed] to have no fear of being returned to their native country,’ Castellanos-Orellana was released with a Notice to Appear in immigration court on an ‘Order of Release [on] own Recognizance’ due to a ‘lack of space,’ with instructions to report to ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in New Orleans.”

The report from the Committee, led by Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), went on to explain that the Department of Homeland Security did have the “capacity to detain Castellanos-Orellana before he was released.”

Castellanos-Orellana went on to allegedly commit the crimes for which he was arrested and charged: armed robbery, aggravated battery, first-degree rape, and aggravated assault.

The report also states that the House Judiciary Committee requested Castellanos-Orellana’s file in late March, shortly after his alleged attack, but had to reiterate its request again in April before finally receiving it in May.

“The disastrous immigration policies of the Biden-Harris Administration have had real-world consequences for American citizens,” the report states.”The effects of those policies will be felt for years to come, with criminal aliens in American neighborhoods harming families and hurting public safety across the country.”

“Castellanos-Orellana’s victims and their families will never be the same because the Biden-Harris Administration allowed the illegal alien to enter and remain in the country,” the report says. “Tragically, Castellanos-Orellana’s victims and their families are not alone.”

The committee’s findings come as Vice President Kamala Harris, now the Democratic presidential nominee, has come under fire for her statement that “an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.”

Castellanos-Orellana is one of millions of illegal aliens that has entered the country under the current administration. Harris and President Joe Biden have presided over the largest surge in illegal immigration at any point in American history. More than 10 million people have crossed the border under the Biden-Harris administration, with an estimated 1.7 million illegal immigrant gotaways recorded since Biden took office in 2021. There were 415,000 total reported gotaways for 2018, 2019, and 2020 during the Trump administration.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
