‘F*** You To Alvin Bragg’: Greg Gutfeld, Megyn Kelly, Justine Bateman React To Penny Verdict

Greg Gutfeld, Megyn Kelly, Hollywood star Justine Bateman, and others reacted to the news that a New York jury had found Daniel Penny not guilty of killing Jordan Neely.

The 26-year-old Marine veteran, who was accused of putting the homeless man in a fatal chokehold on a New York City subway car last year, has been found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide.

Gutfeld, a Fox News host, took to X on Monday and wrote, “Hooray for Daniel Penny and those heroes who risk everything to help others. And a more than deserved f*** you to [NY DA] Alvin Bragg.”

Host of Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast, Megyn Kelly, told her followers, “Praise God — NOT GUILTY — SANITY PREVAILED!!!!

Hollywood filmmaker and actress Justine Bateman said the verdict was proof of a return to “common sense” in our country. “I think the main reason this trial came to light was to show us that we are in a new era in the judicial system.”

Their comments were similar to others like British broadcaster Piers Morgan who wrote on X, “BREAKING: Daniel Penny is cleared. Justice for a hero. Shocking that this ever came to court.

Comedian and frequent guest of “The Greg Gutfeld Show,” Tyrus, wrote to his followers, “Penny’s innocent! The verdict is in! The jury got it right!!! A man should be able to protect women and children regardless of color religion sexuality [sic] from threats.…”

The Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh wrote to his followers, “Praise God. Despite the best efforts of the judge and the prosecutor, justice has prevailed.”

“Daniel Penny now has his freedom,” he added. “He should also have the Medal of Freedom for the courage he displayed on the train that day, and during the ordeal that followed. Maybe with [President-elect Donald] Trump coming in, that might actually happen.”

“Daniel Penny needs to leave NYC and never return,” Walsh continued. “Come down here to Tennessee. We’ll welcome you like the hero you are.”

Former “The View” host and political commentator Meghan McCain wrote ahead of the verdict, “I don’t think the left fully grasps how much they are radicalizing people when a marine who saved a bunch of people on the subway from a violent person with mental illness yelling ‘someone is going to die today’ is demonized. Daniel Penny did nothing wrong, you lunatics.”

On Friday, the jury indicated it was deadlocked over the manslaughter charge, The Daily Wire reported at the time. The manslaughter charge was eventually dropped allowing the jury to deliberate on the lesser charge in an effort to find a guilty verdict. When the Jury returned to work on Monday, it took them less than an hour to return a not guilty verdict.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
