Far-Left Extremist Group That Sided With Hamas On October 7 Cheers Tim Walz Becoming VP Nominee

A far-Left extremist group who sided with genocidal Hamas terrorists on October 7 cheered Vice President Kamala Harris’ decision on Tuesday to choose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) to be her vice presidential running mate.

The Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the U.S., openly cheered Hamas’ terrorist attack at rallies and on social media which is no surprise considering that they have openly called for destroying the state of Israel for years. The group is so extreme that they have yanked their endorsement of socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and one of the group’s founding members left the organization after the October 7 attack because of their alignment with Hamas.

The group also praised the selection of Walz to be the vice presidential nominee.

“Harris choosing Walz as a running mate has shown the world that DSA and our allies on the left are a force that cannot be ignored,” said the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). “Through collective action, DSA and the US left more broadly have made it clear that change is needed. DSA members organized in our workplaces and unions to realign the labor movement to support Palestinian liberation.”

The Iranian-backed Islamic terrorist group Hamas killed 1,200 people, wounded more than 5,000, and kidnapped hundreds during its unprecedented terrorist attack against Israel on October 7.

DSA has highlighted the “Uncommitted movement” — a movement where Democrat primary voters voted “Uncommitted” for president instead of for President Joe Biden — saying that its members played “crucial roles nationally and in multiple states, pressured the Democratic establishment into choosing a new candidate” and not Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D).

“Our demands remain the same: Harris must call for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine and put in place an embargo on all arms to Israel,” the group added. “Democratic Party politics have not changed, but the voices of millions of Americans are now demanding better from the President on Palestine and more. We are raising expectations, and we won’t rest until the genocide is ended and all people can be free.”

The claim that Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza is factually false and has been thoroughly debunked by top U.S. officials.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
