FLASHBACK: Biden Told Iran ‘Don’t’ When It Came To Attacking Israel, Iran Ignored

Iran fired approximately 200 ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday, clearly ignoring President Joe Biden’s earlier warning to the hostile country.

On April 12, while speaking at the National Action Network Convention in New York, Biden was asked what his message to Iran was after reports surfaced that Iran was preparing to attack Israel. Biden replied: “Don’t.”

Biden’s so-called warning came amid reports that Iran had prepared more than 100 cruise missiles to launch at Israel, The Daily Wire reported.

The very next day, the Islamic Republic of Iran ignored Biden’s warning and launched a drone attack against Israel after Israel killed a top Iranian general involved in Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack, The Daily Wire reported.

Following the drone strike, the Biden-Harris administration announced new sanctions on Iran. These came a month after the administration had extended a waiver on sanctions that allowed Iran to give Iraq up to $10 billion through electricity payments by way of third-party countries, The Daily Wire reported. The easing of sanctions came weeks before Iran attacked Israel.

By July, the Biden-Harris administration was easing restrictions on Iran again, The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board reported.

In September, the Biden-Harris administration again played tough with Iran, slapping on new sanctions after the country, which sponsors terrorism around the world, shipped rockets to Russia to use against Ukraine, the New York Post reported.

Now comes October 1, and Iran is firing scores of ballistic missiles at Israel, once again ignoring Biden’s “don’t” warning.

“All Israeli civilians are in bomb shelters as rockets from Iran are fired at Israel,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement. “Approx. 10 million civilians are the targets of Iranian projectiles.”

Some of the ballistic missiles appear to have gotten through Israel’s “Iron Dome” defense and have exploded on the ground.

These missiles are more powerful and advanced than the rockets usually fired into Israel by Hezbollah and Hamas, making their impact a major escalation.

The attacks on Israel also come after months of pressure for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to a cease-fire deal in Gaza following the October 7 terrorist attacks against Israelis. The same pressure has not been applied to those who perpetrated the attacks.

Speaking at the United Nations on Friday, Netanyahu dismissed that pressure.

“Israel has every right to remove this threat and return our citizens to their home safely. And that’s exactly what we’re doing,” Netanyahu said, according to the Associated Press.

“We’ll continue degrading Hezbollah until all our objectives are met,” he added.

During that same speech, Netanyahu also blasted the U.N. as a “house of darkness” and a “swamp of anti-Semitic bile” after noting the organization has placed more resolutions passed against Israel than the rest of the world combined, The Daily Wire reported.

“What hypocrisy, what a double standard, what a joke,” Netanyahu said.

“So all the speeches you heard today, all the hostility directed at Israel this year, not about Gaza. It’s about Israel. It’s always been about Israel, about Israel’s very existence,” he added.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
