Former ‘Bachelorette’ Star Admits He Faked Being Trans To ‘Expose How Gullible’ The Left Is

A former “Bachelorette” contestant who appeared on the reality show nine years ago just admitted that his recent foray into being transgender was nothing but a publicity stunt to prove how gullible leftists can be on the topic.

Josh Seiter, 37, announced that he identified as transgender in May. The reality star went on the BlazeTV podcast “Prime Time with Alex Stein” on Tuesday to say he spent the last five months keeping up the ruse to “expose how gullible and delusional the left is.”

“I think a lot of trans women are turned on at the thought of themselves being women. Guess what? It doesn’t magically make them women,” Seiter told Stein during the interview. 

“We live in a free country, you can do whatever you want. But don’t make your fetish my truth. I don’t have to accept it,” he continued, per the New York Post.

The former “Bachelorette” contestant said he experienced “intolerance, bigotry, and gatekeeping” from leftist activists and community members after making his announcement. 

Seiter began his interview with Stein wearing a full face of makeup and a scarf featuring the colors of the transgender flag before having a podcast staffer come and remove the cosmetics. That’s when the reality star revealed it had been a hoax all along.

“I faked being a faker. I pretended to be a pretender,” Seiter said.

“We are all the same, we are all men putting on makeup and dresses and claiming we are women, and I hope that this could help some people understand that just because you put on dresses and makeup as a man doesn’t magically make you a woman,” he added.

Seiter told The Daily Mail ahead of his big reveal that the whole thing had been a social experiment. “I’ve been running it for four months to see how far people will take postmodern gender ideology and woke culture,” Seiter told the outlet. 

“The medical guidelines and scientific literature make it clear that trans individuals don’t have to have gender dysphoria, don’t have to transition, don’t have to take hormones, get surgery, or alter their appearance in any way to be trans,” he continued.

“All trans women are biological males who identify as women. All trans men are biological women who identify as men,” Seiter said. “But the medical guidelines and science use verbal legerdemain and semantical nonsense to create a nebulous set of rules that are so contradictory and so amorphous that they are utterly meaningless and fail to even define who is trans and who isn’t.”

He went on, “The fact that millions of people are debating if I am a woman after living for 37 years as the man I am anatomically says all that needs to be said about how shallow the intellectual waters are that we are wading in with the trans movement and gender ideology.”
