‘I’m Having A Breakdown’: ABC Broadcasts Group Therapy Session In Place Of ‘The View’

The hosts of ABC’s “The View” appeared to engage in a preemptive trauma therapy session in place of their usual broadcast on Thursday, with several of them visibly panicked over the possibility that they could soon be faced with former President Donald Trump winning another four years in the White House.

Whoopi began by complaining about a recent Trump appearance, suggesting that he didn’t have a leg to stand on when he objected to alleged “election interference.”

Sunny Hostin chimed in, saying as she has before — and with as little evidence as before — that Trump would launch all of the United States’ nuclear weapons. She then pivoted to complain that Vice President Kamala Harris — who leap-frogged to the top of the Democratic Party’s ticket without ever receiving a single vote — was being held “to this different standard, because you have a maniac on the other side.”

Joy Behar claimed that Trump never shows up for anything — despite the fact that he attended two debates (one against President Joe Biden and one against Kamala Harris, David Muir, and Linsey Davis) and showed up in the Hurricane Helene-ravaged southeast days before FEMA got anything done.

“He’d have to work on being sane, you know, because he seems insane,” she said.

The hosts went on to defend Harris and her inability to string together two coherent sentences back-to-back. They explained that her circular approach to speaking was intentional because people don’t really remember things until they’ve heard them three times.

The conversation only got wilder from that point on, as Whoopi Goldberg lashed out at anyone who still hadn’t decided who to vote for on November 5: “If you don’t know what you’re doing now, I don’t know what else to tell you. I don’t know what else to tell you.”

Joy Behar then exclaimed that she was “having a breakdown,” saying that she didn’t understand how anyone could still be “on the fence” with just 12 days to go before the election.

“Get off the fence!” She scolded. “It’s a presidential candidate with credentials versus some kind of a nut case. That’s what you are up against. Stop with the fence already! I’m sick of it! I can’t take it anymore!”

Goldberg wrapped things up by screaming directly at Trump — whose name she still refuses to say aloud — that he “lost” in 2020.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
