JD Vance: Everything Leading Up To Trump Assassination Attempt ‘Very Fishy’

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) said during an interview with Joe Rogan this week that the circumstances leading up to the moment that former President Donald Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, back in July were “very fishy.”

Vance made the remark during a Wednesday appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” that aired Thursday afternoon when asked by Joe Rogan how much he had studied the story surrounding would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks.

“I’ve read a fair amount about it and it’s pretty bizarre,” Vance said. “It’s bizarre. They haven’t been able to get into his phone.”

Vance was referencing that investigators could not get inside encrypted apps that he had on his phone.

He said that it was “shocking” that Trump was alive given how close Crooks was and that it was “a genuine miracle that that guy didn’t kill him.”

“People were yelling and saying, ‘This guy’s got a gun. He’s on the roof,'” he said.

Vance noted another guy was on video yelling at police about seeing Crooks on the roof of the nearby building.

“And nobody responded to it,” he said. “And the whole thing is very fishy to me. And I hope that we win and then get to the bottom of it.”

Vance later added that often times when there is a school shooter, the public “usually has the person’s manifesto” within 48 hours.

“We know nothing about the motive here, which I think is the craziest thing,” he continued. “Obviously, he’s motivated because he hates Donald Trump. But you don’t know anything about the secondary motive. Man, it is weird.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
