JoJo Siwa Slammed After Sharing Plans To Have Triplets Via Three Surrogates

JoJo Siwa is facing backlash for sharing her plans to have children via three different surrogates.

The 21-year-old singer discussed her plan during a video interview for Cosmopolitan’s “If It Were Me” series.

“Because I’m gay as s*** and I have to plan a pregnancy much different than a straight person, I actually want to take three eggs, fertilize three eggs, and have three surrogates,” Siwa said.

“So technically, they’ll all be the same batch, but they would all be born separately. I’m gonna have my surrogates, my babies, then maybe their birthdays will land on different days, and they can be like triplets, but like, not.”

Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh posted his reaction to the clip, writing, “‘The same batch,’ she says of her own future children. At this point we need to treat people who use surrogates with the same contempt and disgust we heap on human traffickers. Because they are human traffickers.”

“This is such an odd fantasy,” another commenter wrote.

“This is weird. Let’s not,” echoed a third.

Another comment said, “Humans aren’t something to be bought by wealthy people as accessories.”

In March, the “Karma” singer talked about having her future children’s names tattooed on her arm. “I actually have two tattoos dedicated to them. This one’s dedicated to my baby girl one day, her name is Freddie,” the YouTube star said, indicating one of her arm tattoos. “Then this is dedicated to twin boys. Eddie and Teddie. Freddie, Eddie and Teddie.”

“I want three babies. I’ve got a sperm donor lined up,” she added, as The Daily Wire previously reported.

Siwa has been talking about motherhood for a while. In 2023, the former “Dance Moms” star said that she eventually wants to “retire and have babies” after achieving her life goal of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

“On the personal side of my life, since I was 12, I cannot wait to be a mom. I cannot wait to have babies,” she said during a podcast interview with Raven-Symoné. “I want to have so many!”

“I feel like I’ll have kids pretty early — but obviously, me having kids is a lot bigger process,” Siwa continued.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
