Joy Behar called for a list of the people who attended former President Donald Trump’s Sunday rally at Madison Square Garden, which she referred to as a “Nuremberg Rally.”
Behar made the comments during Tuesday’s broadcast of “The View” on ABC, and she began by complaining about some of the jokes told by one of the speakers at that rally.
Effectively declaring herself the arbiter of what constituted real comedy, she claimed it was “a rule in comedy” to never “punch down.”
While calling Trump and his supporters Nazis, The View cast have a meltdown over "Tampon Tim" Walz jokes.

Just moments after her cohost implied that Trump’s supporters were literal Nazis, Sara Haines complained about the Trump campaign referring to Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) as “Tampon Tim” — a nod to a Walz policy that put menstrual products in men’s bathrooms in order to appease trans activists.

Cohost Whoopi Goldberg claimed that Republicans were resorting to such name-calling because she believed Trump was terrified of running against Vice President Kamala Harris.
The cohosts then turned their ire toward Dr. Phil McGraw, lashing out at him for making an appearance at the MSG rally even though his primary message was that Americans needed to stand up to people who bullied Trump supporters.

Sunny Hostin continued the attack on the MSG rally, saying that the people who weren’t usually “otherized” found it too easy to tell people who were that they should not be offended. Her implication was that the rally attendees — who have been written off as actual “Nazis” by pundits across legacy media in addition to her show — were the privileged group in that scenario.
“I’m offended. I’m offended. I think we need to call that rally what it was, it was a white nationalist rally with a white nationalist platform,” she continued.

Behar jumped back into the conversation, saying she’d really like to know who would associate themselves with an event like that: “Who are these people who went to that rally? I want to know.”
