Kamala Really Wants To Break Up With Biden. The Media Is Ready To Help Her Do It.

Vice President Kamala Harris wants to break up with President Joe Biden — or at least put some distance between her and the toxic Biden administration policies she supported until about three weeks ago. The legacy media seems only too happy to help her do it.

After months of floundering in the polls, Biden’s disastrous late-June debate with former President Trump was what finally led his own party to oust him. Rather than allow the voters to decide or go to a contested convention, the Democratic Party opted to thrust Harris to the top of the 2024 ticket. And in the weeks since, Harris has been scrambling — with the help of media — to sever all connections with unpopular Biden policies, her own far-left record in the U.S. Senate, and her 2019 presidential platform.

Axios did the heavy lifting for Harris on Wednesday, publishing a report outlining how she planned to “break with Biden” on several key issues — issues on which she either ostensibly agreed with Biden or could have pushed to advance as vice president — and redefine herself as a presidential candidate.

“Harris won’t say it this bluntly in public, but her advisers do so privately: She wants to break with Biden on issues on which he’s unpopular,” Axios wrote. “First up: rising prices. This is part of a highly choreographed effort to define herself — in some cases, redefine herself — as a different kind of Democrat.”

Critics noted that Harris, in her role as the U.S. Senate’s tie-breaker, cast the deciding vote on the Inflation Reduction Act that has often been blamed for the persistent inflation and high prices.

“She’s not just trying to break with Biden, she’s trying to break with Kamala Harris, who helped write the bills and cast the deciding votes for the these rising prices,” Matt Whitlock posted.

“Sorry! Too late! This week @PressSec told @PhilipWegmann that Biden and Harris were “critical partners” in every domestic and foreign policy action of the administration. And Biden believed to have her full support. Maybe she should have explained it in an interview,” Larry O’Connor added.

The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway called the report “insane propaganda,” noting that Harris is still serving as vice president and could push to implement any policy she viewed as important now.

“The simple test to determine whether this is true or a lie is for her to begin implementing the policies immediately — TODAY — and to EXPLAIN IN EXTENSIVE DETAIL why she has boisterously supported (and continues to support) her administration’s policies up until she IMPLEMENTS ANYTHING CONTRARY,” she added.

CBS News gave Harris an assist earlier in the week after she announced her plan to exempt tips from taxation — a plan that most believe she lifted directly from former President Donald Trump’s 2024 platform — by giving her the favorable coverage they had denied Trump.

A June 14th headline written about Trump’s plan to exempt tips from taxation read, “Former President Donald Trump’s vow to stop taxing tips would cost the federal government up to $250 billion over 10 years, according to a government watchdog group.”

When Kamala Harris announced a nearly identical plan to exempt tips from taxation, the CBS headline read, “Vice President Kamala Harris is rolling out a new policy position, saying she’ll fight to end taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.”

Multiple media outlets have worked overtime to convince the American people that Border Czar Kamala Harris — who was tasked by President Joe Biden to research and address the root causes of migration and stem the flow of illegal immigration — was not actually the border czar and was never really in charge of the situation at the southern border.

The Associated Press made another attempt to blunt the impact of the immigration crisis on Harris’ previously stated responsibilities, arguing that the problem had not yet been addressed because she had simply taken a “long term approach” to solving it.

“Presented with rise in border crossings, Harris chose a long-term approach to the problem,” the outlet wrote.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
