Kamala Uses Preschool Voice To Speak To High School Band

Vice President Kamala Harris spoke with a high school band about leadership — but to the casual observer, she sounded more like she was talking to a group of preschoolers.

Harris, who is now officially the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential nominee despite the fact that she never won a single primary vote on her own merits, was campaigning with running mate Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) at her side at the time.

In the video, Harris appeared to be over-enunciating every syllable, speaking slowly as if she didn’t think the students would be able to keep up with what she was saying.

“Our country is counting on you,” she said, nodding her head with every word and talking with her hands for added emphasis. “All of you. You are leaders. By the very fact that you all are here in this room, doing what you do at this incredible school, doing it as one big team, understanding all the different parts that fit together to create a team.”

Critics pointed out that Harris’ awkward communication style might be at least part of the reason her campaign team has not had her front and center, getting as much media exposure as possible.

“Kamala explains the concept of how teams work together to a high school band as if they are 5 years old,” conservative communications strategist Greg Price posted. “It’s a real mystery why her handlers never let her speak without a script …”

“When the hands start a-wavin’, you know it’s gonna be baaaaaaaaaad,” The Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro added.

“Can’t imagine being Tim Walz and having to listen to this bulls*** nonsense and then act like I agree with it???? Hilarious,” another X account posted.

Harris is set to do her first interview since she became the de facto nominee over one month ago. She will sit for a pre-taped interview — with her running mate by her side — with friendly CNN anchor Dana Bash. That interview is scheduled to air Thursday evening.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
