Liz Cheney Endorses Kamala Harris After Previously Warning How Radical She Was

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president on Wednesday despite her repeated warnings in the past about how dangerous and radical Harris’ ideology is.

Speaking at Duke University, Cheney said: “Because we are here in North Carolina, I think it is crucially important for people to recognize, not only is what I just said about the danger that Trump poses … something that should prevent people from voting for him.”

“I don’t believe that we have the luxury of writing in candidates names, particularly in swing states. And as a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this,” she added. “And because of the danger that, that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I’ll be voting for Kamala Harris.”

Cheney campaigned hard against Harris in 2020 during the Democrat presidential primary and after then-Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden selected Harris to be his vice presidential running mate.

“Kamala Harris is a radical liberal who would raise taxes, take away guns & health insurance, and explode the size and power of the federal gov’t,” Cheney posted on X. “She wants to recreate America in the image of what’s happening on the streets of Portland & Seattle. We won’t give her the chance.”

Cheney went after Harris for being open to allowing convicted terrorists to vote in U.S. elections, remarks that Harris made during a CNN town hall event.

“Coming soon:⁦ @KamalaHarris⁩ and ⁦@BernieSanders launch their ‘Absentee ballots for al Qaeda’ program,” Cheney posted on X.

Cheney also called out Harris for lying to voters about what her health care plan was.

Cheney also did segments on cable news attacking Harris, warning that she had the most far-Left record in the U.S. Senate and was a “radical liberal [who] supports dangerous policies that would devastate millions of Americans.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
