Netanyahu Defends Musk After AOC, Leftist Media Smear Him As A Nazi

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Elon Musk on Thursday after far-Left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and others smeared him as a Nazi for a gesture that he made during President Donald Trump’s inaugural celebrations earlier this week.

Musk made the gesture at the end of his remarks inside Capitol One Arena when he told the crowd, “Thank you. My heart goes out to you.”

Ocasio-Cortez made the accusation during remarks she made during an Instagram livestream.

“I don’t care what Elon Musk is doing behind a presidential seal,” she said. “In this country, we hate Nazis.”

“I like, you’re gonna do a Sieg Heil, you’re going to do a Heil Hitler … from behind the presidential seal of the United States of America?” she continued. “It’s on! It’s on!”

Netanyahu responded to accusations by saying that Musk was “being falsely smeared.”

“Elon is a great friend of Israel,” he said. “He visited Israel after the October 7 massacre in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.”

“He has since repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel’s right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes who seek to annihilate the one and only Jewish state,” he continued. “I thank him for this.”

Even the left-wing Anti-Defamation League (ADL) defended Musk over the accusations.

“It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge,” they said. “In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.”

AOC fumed at the ADL’s statement: “Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity.”

“People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information now,” she said. “You work for them. Thank you for making that crystal clear to all.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
