New Orleans Terror Suspect Had ISIS Flag; Several Other Suspects In Case: Reports

The suspect who allegedly carried out a terrorist attack in New Orleans’ French Quarter early on Wednesday morning had an ISIS flag with him, according to multiple reports.

The news comes after the FBI said in a statement that the incident was being investigated as an act of terrorism after the suspect rammed a white pickup truck into a crowd of people and then got out and opened fire at police before he was killed by law enforcement.

At least 10 people were killed in the attack, and 35 more people were injured.

Local New Orleans publications reported that the suspected driver has been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar.

CNN reported that Jabbar “had an ISIS flag at the time of the incident,” according to law enforcement officials.

Fox News reported “there are at least four to five other suspects involved,” according to law enforcement sources.

There were also multiple explosive devices found in the vehicle, the report said.
