NOW STREAMING: ‘Clearing The A.I.R. – The Making Of ‘Am I Racist?’’

Documentary filmmaker and Daily Wire host Matt Walsh said one of the questions he gets asked most about his hit film “Am I Racist?” is: “How were you able to pull this off?”

Now, audiences can see how he did it first with “Clearing the A.I.R. – The Making of ‘Am I Racist?’” This new film takes audiences deep behind the scenes with Walsh, director Justin Folk, and the entire cast and crew as they pull back the curtain on the making of a cultural phenomenon.

“Am I Racist?” takes a similar but not identical approach to Walsh’s first film, “What Is a Woman?” and lets the radical activists speak freely. For the latest project, that meant going undercover in a man bun, glasses, and tweed jacket.

Walsh met with some of the leading race hustlers in the business and pretended to be on their side, inevitably helping them humiliate themselves simply by explaining what they stood for. The podcast host has said fans are obsessed with how he was able to score a meeting with “White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo and to literally have a seat at the Race2Dinner table with extremists Saira Rao and Regina Jackson.

Walsh has said one of the biggest reasons these DEI activists allowed him and the crew access with little to no vetting is that they rarely encounter anyone who disagrees with them. Safe in their intellectual bubbles, they truly believe that most people are on their side.

“We are trying to expose the so-called expert class — our self-appointed moral superiors who impose their doctrines on us from on high,” Walsh said on X in response to some conservatives who were uncomfortable that the filmmaker used what some called “deception” to score interviews.

Walsh said they had to “use more innovative and maybe even ruthless means to lure or drag them out,” and that “once we have them, we let them embarrass themselves. And we laugh at them. It’s not the nicest thing. But niceness is a luxury we don’t always have.”

With “Clearing the A.I.R.” you’ll get to see how they did it. Walsh and the crew will expand on the interviews with noted DEI activists and regular people which were edited for length, giving you exclusive access to what went into this incredible project and what was left on the cutting room floor.

“Am I Racist?” is the most successful release in DailyWire+ history, performing even better on its first day of streaming than previous hits including “What is a Woman?” in 2022, and the comedy “Lady Ballers” in 2023. The film also outperformed expectations at the box office, grossing more than $12 million and debuting in the top five films in the country on its opening weekend. “Am I Racist?” also became the top-grossing documentary of the decade.

“Am I Racist?” is one of only 15 documentaries ever to open in over 1,500 theaters nationwide.

The film has a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes with more than 2,500 verified reviews. Despite the overwhelming popularity of the movie, mainstream critics have largely ignored it, and it was snubbed by The Academy this year after being submitted for Oscars consideration.

Whether you watched “Am I Racist?” in theaters or streamed it on DailyWire+, “Clearing the A.I.R.” will take you deeper into the DEI grift than you’ve ever gone before. Find it now exclusively on DailyWire+.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
