Patricia Heaton Promotes Symbolic Way Americans Can Show Support For Jewish Neighbors

Patricia Heaton promoted a symbolic way that Americans can show their support for their Jewish neighbors and friends ahead of the one year anniversary of the October 7 terrorist attack that killed 1,200 people.

In a post on Monday on X, the 66-year-old actress and outspoken Israel supporter wrote about her campaign to stop anti-Semitism, called 07C.org [October7coalition.com]. It is described as a “network of Christians standing visibly and vocally against the rise of antisemitism in our country,” founded by Heaton.

As we head toward the one year anniversary of October 7th, I ask that you please join me in the #MyzuzahYourzuzah campaign to show solidarity with your Jewish friends and neighbors, fight antisemitism and bless your household,” Heaton’s post read, and she shared a video clip of herself as she affixed a Mezuzah on her front door, and encouraged others to do the same.

She then listed four ways people can help.

“Purchase a Mezuzah from https://myzuzah.org,” she added. “Capture a video of you affixing your Mezuzah and saying ‘Myzuzah, Yourzuzah.’”

“Post your video to your social media profiles with a message of support and hashtag #MyzuzahYourzuzah,” Heaton continued. “Post anytime from now until October 7th. I’ll be liking and sharing videos throughout the campaign. Let’s show our Jewish friends we stand with them!  @TheOfficialO7C @myzuzahorg.”

The “Everybody Loves Raymond” star then reacted to one person who asked, “Is it wrong to do this if I’m not Jewish? I stand with Israel?”

I’m not Jewish either David — it’s a #SpartacusMoment to stand in solidarity with our [Jewish] friends!” Heaton replied.

Another person then asked, “Mine was already there, put up after a trip to Israel in June. Is this OK? #Myzuzah, Yourzuzah!” And the Hollywood star responded, “Thank you Jo! Solidarity on defense of freedom!”

Heaton has been outspoken in her support for Israel following the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, taking to social media numerous times blasting anti-Semitism and more.

She recently called on others to join her — after an anti-Israel representative labeled anyone supporting Israel and Jewish people “the enemy.”

In a post on X, the Hollywood actress reacted to a clip of Taher Herzallah, a rep for American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), saying, “Anybody who has a relationship with … or identifies themself as a Jewish person or as a Christian Zionist … they are enemy number one. And our community needs to recognize that as such.”

“I guess I’m ‘enemy number one.’ Anyone care to join me?” Heaton wrote.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
