Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Taken Into Federal Custody After Grand Jury Indictment

Rap icon Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken into federal custody on Monday evening after a grand jury indicted him.

It was not immediately clear what the charges were that the grand jury indicted him on but it comes amid a federal investigation that culminated in raids on Combs’ properties earlier this year that focused on “allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms,” according to an NBC News report from March.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” said Combs attorney Marc Agnifilo. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.”

“He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo claimed. “To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
