Ta-Nehisi Coates Blasted For Suggesting He Would’ve Participated In October 7 Attack

Woke activist author Ta-Nehisi Coates faced significant backlash late this week for suggesting during a podcast that he might not have been able to stop himself from participating in the mass slaughter of Jews on October 7.

The pseudo-intellectual made the remarks during an interview with far-left entertainer Trevor Noah, who compared during the same interview Islamic terrorists to America’s Founding Fathers.

During the podcast, in which Coates made numerous false claims, he said that he thinks “a lot” about whether he would be “strong enough” to resist the urge to participate in the October 7 massacre, in which 1,200 people were brutally murdered, if he had been born in Gaza.

“Am I also strong enough or even constructed in such a way where I say this is too far?” he asked. “I don’t know that I am.”

Thousands of people expressed shock at Coates’ extremist remarks as clips of the remarks were viewed tens of millions of times across social media.

“Ta-Nehisi Coates is not above raping young women at a music festival in the name of ‘resistance,'” said Columbia professor Shai Davidai. “That’s the headline. Everything else is commentary.”

National security expert David Reaboi posted on X: “Lotta people are misunderstanding this, because they can’t imagine how someone like Coates thinks. Hamas’ grotesque slaughter on October 7th is THE REASON why he supports the Palestinians. They are doing to Jews what he wants to do to Whites.”

Writer Dan McLaughlin posted on X: “If Coates was a German in 1943, would he have been an extermination camp guard? There’s not the slightest indication anywhere in his career that he wouldn’t.”

Professor Gad Saad wrote: “What a morally bankrupt individual. Never mind the false examples. Israel operated on the brain of one of Hamas’ leaders and saved his life (he had a tumour). He thanked them by organizing October 7th.”

“I don’t think he understands what launching a race war on the majority population would mean,” said attorney Kurt Schlichter. “It’s quite literally insane. This is a bad person and he should be scorned by all decent folks.”

Writer Noah Pollak posted on X: “The worst part of this clip isn’t him saying he’d participate in the mass-murder of Israeli women and children; it’s his blatant lies about Israel that he uses to justify why he’d become a terrorist.”

Coates has been at the center of a scandal at CBS News, after employees objected to anchor Tony Dokoupil’s questioning of Coates about his stance on Israel. At one point, Dokoupil told Coates: “I have to say, when I read the book, I imagine if I took your name out of it, took away the awards, the acclaim, took the cover off the book, publishing house goes away, the content of that section would not be out of place in the backpack of an extremist.”

Now, amid the network’s denigration of Dokoupil, Coates has admitted he may have gone along with the extremists who slaughtered Israelis on October 7, 2023.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
