Former Pittsburgh Steelers star running back Le’Veon Bell posted a TikTok video in which he effusively praised former President Donald Trump after Bell appeared with Trump at a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
Bell, who played college ball at Michigan State, was in three Pro Bowls while in the NFL. He appeared on stage with Trump along with former Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who played with him between 2013 and 2018.
“I spent two days with Donald Trump. and the experience was way more than I could ever imagine,” Bell titled the video.
“It’s been the craziest two days of my life,” Bell said. “Not only the rally; the rally was crazy. I’ve played in big football games, playoff games, Super Bowls. I never had a feeling like I had two days ago at that rally when I was behind that mic in front of America. Like maybe more than just America, bro. I was in front of, like, millions of people, bro, and let me tell you how real Trump is: One: I didn’t know I was gonna be called up on the stage; I did not know that. I knew AB was gonna do his speech … I had zero clue that [Trump] was gonna call me on stage. Not only did he call me on stage, shake my hand, you know what I’m sayin’, he talked to me a little bit.”
“I’m thinking that’s gonna be it,” he continued. “I’m cool. I’m cool with that; got my little photo op, I’m cool. … He looked me right in my face, said, ‘You got anything to say you can say it.’ He hold his arm out like this, bro. And he said, ‘The mic [is] yours.'”
“I got so nervous, bro, I got shook,” he recalled. “I see the mic wide open, I’m like, damn, but, this is my opportunity. I’m like, shocked, I can say whatever I want on this thing? I didn’t want to embarrass myself, say nothin’ too crazy.”

“Basically what I’m tryin’ to say is, bro, Trump a real one,” he insisted. “He a real one, bro. He ain’t gonna try to make me say anything. … Off the love. He might want to win the election, but I’m tryin’ to tell y’all … I coulda went up there …. I coulda messed up everything. That’s why you gotta understand, Trump is a real one, bro.”
