Trump Buys Groceries For Pennsylvania Mom, Promises To Bring Prices Down

Former President Donald Trump surprised a Pennsylvania mother of three, buying her groceries when he stepped into a small market ahead of his Monday campaign stop in Indiana, PA.

Trump made a stop at Sprankles Market in nearby Kittanning earlier in the day, where he spoke to a number of fans and supporters.

The former president also made a beeline for a popcorn display, grabbing a large bag and handing it off to a staffer: “Oh, look, I gotta get some of this!”

“Look at that stuff,” he said, prompting laughs. “This is what I want. We gotta get it.”

“My mom just got a bag of that, actually,” someone else commented.

“Is it good stuff? Good?” Trump asked.

“She says it’s the best,” the man replied. “She says it’s the best.”

“Is that the best?” Trump asked. “If it is, I’ll be sending — I’ll be in Washington, D.C., hopefully in the Oval Office, I’ll send for popcorn.”

Trump paid for his popcorn, handing the cashier his money and saying, “Take the rest of it.” He then turned to the register behind him, where another customer was checking out with her groceries, and tossed a bill onto the conveyor belt in front of her.

“Here, it’s going to go down a little bit,” he said of her grocery bill. She smiled and picked up the bill, and Trump added, “It just went down a hundred bucks.”

“Thank you so much!” she replied.

“We’ll do that for you from the White House,” Trump said, waving and adding, “All right, bye. Nice seeing everybody …”

Turning back to the woman and her kids, he continued, “Beautiful … beautiful, they’re your kids?”

“Yes, they are,” she said. “Three boys.”

“Perfecto. Perfecto,” was Trump’s reply.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
