Trump Fans Gather Early For Madison Square Garden Rally; Speaker Lineup Released

Fans of Donald Trump are showing up in force at Madison Square Garden ahead of the former president’s rally in the famed New York City arena on Sunday evening.

Trump is returning to New York, a blue state where he was born and became a real estate tycoon, during the final stretch of his 2024 White House campaign. Election Day is in less than two weeks. Polls indicate Trump has a slight advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Fans were already gathering on Saturday outside the venue, where police beefed up security in anticipation of the event. By Sunday morning, a crowd of Trump supporters sporting “MAGA” gear and American flags chanted “USA” while a Fox News correspondent did a report at the scene, noting people were “hyped up” and from “all over the place.”

Madison Square Garden, which is the home to the New York Knicks and New York Rangers sports teams, has a capacity of 19,500 people. For the Trump rally, the doors are expected to open at noon ET and the event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. ET.

The Trump campaign released a list of guest speakers that includes Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Trump’s running mate; tech billionaire Elon Musk; Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a longtime Democrat who ran an independent campaign for president before joining forces with Trump; and Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat congresswoman from Hawaii who recently joined the Republican Party.

Other expected guests include: House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Republican National Committee Co-Chair and Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump, Trump’s sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr., Trump senior advisors Dan Scavino and Stephen Miller, Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White, journalist Tucker Carlson.

In addition, the list has: America First Policy Institute President and CEO Brooke Rollins, Witkoff Group founder Steve Witkoff, Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald and Co-Chair of the Trump 2024 Transition Team Howard Lutnick, 10X CEO Grant Cardone, Sergio Gor of Right for America PAC, Death Row Records founder Michael Harris Jr., Moms for Liberty founder Tiffany Justice, singer Lee Greenwood, opera singer Christopher Macchio, singer Mary Millben, New York radio personality Sid Rosenberg, comedian Kill Tony, live painter Scott Lobaido, and David Rem, a childhood friend of former President Trump.

“The program includes political icons, celebrities, musical artists, and friends and family of President Trump who will all discuss how President Trump is the best choice to fix everything that Kamala Harris broke,” said a press release from Trump’s campaign. “This epic event, in the heart of President Trump’s home city, will be a showcase of the historic political movement that President Trump has built in the final days of the campaign.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
