Trump Reacts To Kamala’s ’60 Minutes’ Interview: ‘She Answers Questions Like A Child’

Former President Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’ “60 Minutes” interview during a Tuesday interview with Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro on Tuesday.

“I got to watch last night, ’60 Minutes,'” Trump told Shapiro. “And she answers questions like a child. This is not a president.”

Harris, who has largely refused to take on tough questions since she became the Democrats’ nominee, struggled to answer basic questions about her record during the “60 Minutes” interview. Trump said Harris struggled with numerous “basic” questions. “Every time she does an interview, she sounds like a child,” he added. “She sounds like a person with a very low IQ, you know?” 

Earlier in the conversation, Trump reiterated how poorly Harris performed. “I watched the interview and it was a terrible interview, just a terrible, terrible interview,” he said. “That this person can be leading — she’s a very low intelligence person — that she could be leading this country, it’s just ridiculous.”

“She’s never going to lead the country,” the former president said, suggesting others around her are really calling the shots. Those people, he said, “they’re very bad people and they’re not of our persuasion, they’re fascists and Marxists.” 

Shapiro asked Trump about whether Harris is responsible for President Joe Biden’s apparent cognitive struggles, and whether she should invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

“She has been steadfastly avoiding all responsibility throughout all of this and basically throwing it off to President Biden, who is not there,” Shapiro said. “It’s the reason they pulled him out of the race, because you were destroying him in the race. They pulled him out because he wasn’t mentally competent. He’s still not mentally competent.”

“But Kamala Harris has not invoked the 25th Amendment,” Shapiro continued. “Does she have a responsibility to invoke the 25th Amendment, oust him from office, and actually take responsibility for the administration at this point?”

“Actually, now that you’re mentioning it, I think they should do a double 25th Amendment,” Trump answered, giving off a laugh. “Get them both out, because it’s just terrible.”

“This is going to be the worst administration ever,” Trump said. “They both don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”

The former president added that Harris is blaming Biden for their administration’s failures, and Biden is not happy with her.

“You know, I have some friends” at the White House, Trump said. “You’re in the White House, and you have a lot of friends on both sides — but I have friends. [Biden] is so angry at [Harris] and she’s trying to distance herself. She doesn’t want anything to do with him.”
