Trump Slams Biden For Pardoning Son: ‘Abuse And Miscarriage Of Justice!’

President-elect Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden for pardoning his son Hunter Biden on Sunday despite repeatedly promising the American people that he would not do so.

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years?” Trump asked on social media. “Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!”

A spokesperson for the president said in a separate statement that “the failed witch hunts against President Trump have proven that the Democrat-controlled DOJ and other radical prosecutors are guilty of weaponizing the justice system.”

“That system of justice must be fixed and due process must be restored for all Americans, which is exactly what President Trump will do as he returns to the White House with an overwhelming mandate from the American people,” the spokesperson added.

Biden issued a sweeping pardon over an 11-year span for his son for any crimes that he committed “or may have committed or taken part in.”

The pardon was issued before Hunter Biden, 54, was expected to be sentenced for gun and tax evasion crimes later this month.

He was facing the potential for prison time.

“No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong,” President Biden claimed.

The elder Biden and the White House had denied on multiple occasions, dating back to last year, that the president had intended to give his son Hunter Biden a pardon.

“We’ve been asked that question multiple times and our answer stands — which is no,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in early November.

In June, jurors in Delaware convicted Hunter Biden on three felony counts of lying on paperwork for a revolver and owning the firearm while being a drug addict in 2018.

A couple of months later, in September, Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to several federal charges related to tax crimes right before a second trial was to begin in Los Angeles.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
