Vibe Shift: Luxury Brand Boasts About Styling Conservatives Like Usha Vance, Ivanka Trump

Luxury brand Oscar de la Renta is not being shy about styling conservative women in Trump’s orbit, which was once basically unheard of.

Oscar de la Renta — which has styled A-list celebrities like Jessica Chastain, Kaley Cuoco, and Anne Hathaway — boasted about dressing incoming Second Lady Usha Vance and making a custom dress for Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump for inauguration-eve events. 

“Incoming Second Lady, Usha Vance, wears a custom noir velvet gown with asymmetric floral accents and a sweetheart neckline for the Vice President’s Dinner,” the brand posted to X on Sunday.

Giving more detail about Ivanka’s dress, the brand account wrote, “Individually embroidered crystals and cabochon pearls form the floral motif of Ivanka Trump’s custom gown in the #odlratelier.”

Ivanka was also styled by Oscar de la Renta for a recent event honoring American veterans.

Overall, many female politicos and non-political online accounts expressed joy over the fashion on display from conservative women, most notably first lady Melania Trump — a former fashion model — and Mrs. Vance.
