A Pennsylvania man who was previously undecided about who he would vote for in November shared his thoughts about Kamala Harris after she addressed the Democratic National Convention.
CNN spoke to a group of eight Pennsylvania voters in Allentown who had been undecided just after Harris’ convention speech Thursday night.
“You’ve decided on Trump,” the CNN host said to one man. “When we met last week you were undecided. What about tonight made you decide you would vote for Trump?”

“You know, her speech was great. I like how she went into personal history, again,” responded the man.

However, the vice president’s speech was “just not moving for me,” he said.
“She wasn’t clear enough on the policies,” the man said.
“I still don’t feel like she’s ready,” he said. “I feel like more so she should wait. I don’t want to per se vote for someone that’s a backup.”
Harris’s speech “made you think that Trump’s a better candidate?” the CNN host asked.
“He’s here for it. He’s a little bit more aggressive.”
Harris accepted the Democratic nomination for president at the party’s convention in Chicago on Thursday night.
During her speech, she repeatedly lashed out at her opponent, former President Donald Trump.
“Fellow Americans, this election is not only the most important of our lives, it is one of the most important in the life of our nation. In many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man. But the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious,” she said.
Harris also claimed Trump’s presidency was full of “chaos and calamity.”
Trump responded to Harris’ attacks on Truth Social, taking particular aim at her criticism that he did not support a border bill earlier this year.
Trump said the border bill was “one of the worst ever written” and “would have allowed millions of people into our Country, and it’s only a political ploy by her!”

Trump and Harris are currently running neck-and-neck in the presidential race, with Harris leading by just a point and a half, according to the Real Clear Politics average of polls.
Critics of Harris have pointed out that she still has not done a sit-down interview since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed her for the top of the ticket.
They also note that Harris has been cagey about her platform so far, and her campaign website does not list a single specific policy.
