White House: There Is No ‘Daylight’ Between Biden And What Harris Will Do If Elected

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday that there is no “daylight” between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, an indication that Harris could govern nearly identically to Biden if elected this fall.

KJP made the remark during a press briefing when asked if there was “a process where there is a checking of what she’s going to put out and how it matches or may change, or ways in which she can build on what he’s done.”

“I can’t speak to an interagency kind of process in doing just that — trying to measure up or line up where they both are,” KJP responded. “What I can speak to is the last three and a half years — right? — we have less than six months now of this administration — and how much the vice president was a critical partner in getting a lot of the big pieces, historic pieces done.”

KJP said that Harris was responsible for the “heavy lifting” in implementing Biden’s radical agenda, including the American Rescue Plan, which sparked the inflation crisis that impacted the U.S. over the last three years.

“They’ve been aligned,” she said. “They’ve been aligned for the last three and a half years. There’s not been any daylight.”

KJP said she had to be “super careful” when discussing what Harris was going to do with her campaign in terms of the policy that she rolls out, but said that Harris was going to “build on the unprecedented successes, the historic successes that they’ve had,” indicating that she was going to take Biden’s policies even further to the Left.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
