Authorities Investigating Cybertruck Explosion At Trump Hotel As Possible Terror Attack

Law enforcement officials are investigating a Tesla Cybertruck that exploded in front of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas as a possible act of terrorism.

The incident happened Wednesday morning when a driver pulled up outside the Trump Las Vegas hotel in Nevada and the vehicle exploded just moments later.

“The driver pulled into the valet area of the hotel and the vehicle exploded,” ABC News reported, citing a law enforcement official. “The driver is apparently dead and, so far, the only casualty from the incident. Seven bystanders had minor injuries.”

Investigators were working to determine whether something happened inside or outside the vehicle that triggered the explosion.

There were large fireworks inside the vehicle that exploded and they were working to determine if they were part of a bomb that was intentionally detonated or whether it was an accident.

The fact that the vehicle that was involved was a Cybertruck immediately raised suspicions because of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s close ties to President-elect Donald Trump.

Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, said in a statement: “Earlier today, a reported electric vehicle fire occurred in the porte cochère of Trump Las Vegas.”

“The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remain our top priority,” he added. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their swift response and professionalism.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
