Chris Cuomo Blasts ’80-20 Loser’ Ocasio-Cortez, Warns Dems Not To Pick Her In 2028

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo blasted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) during a Thursday broadcast, warning Democrats not to get behind her as she tours the country with Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) — and appears ready to potentially mount a presidential campaign in 2028.

Cuomo, in addition to criticizing Ocasio-Cortez’ thin Congressional resume, referred to the Bronx native as an “80/20 loser” whose only real accomplishments can be measured in social media “likes.”

“AOC has done nothing meaningful in Congress. She’s done it all on social media,” Cuomo began. “And she’s one of your leading names and who’s going to be president?”

“Do you not get this concept of 80/20? She’s an 80/20 loser all day long,” Cuomo continued, suggesting that on most major issues that Americans cared about, Ocasio-Cortez would side with 20% while 80% sided against her. “Why? She is clearly catering to a minority. She’s her own version of MAGA. She’s looking for an outraged enclave.”

“She’s not about the majority, she’s not about consensus. She’s not about solutions,” he concluded. “She wants government to give you everything. She’s a socialist in a capitalist society. What are you thinking!?”

A number of people have suggested that Ocasio-Cortez is likely to mount a primary challenge against Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) — and Schumer’s recent poll numbers, according to CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten, have many wondering whether he could withstand such a battle.

“They simply don’t like the job he’s doing as Senate leader. I mean, look at this — should Schumer stay as Senate leader? Again, according to New York Democrats, just 50% say yes. Look at this number — 48% say no,” Enten said. “This screams — sirens should be going off. Primary challenge. Primary challenge. Primary challenge. When you’re a Democrat in New York and these are your ratings — this is a big wake-up call if you’re Chuck Schumer.”

But others have suggested that the New York Congresswoman might be plotting a much bigger move:

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
