Dana White Praises Trump’s Character, Calls For Americans To Unite Behind America’s Success

UFC CEO Dana White addressed a packed Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, calling President-elect Donald Trump “the best human being” he has “ever known” and urging Americans to find common ground and hope for Trump’s success.

White spoke before Trump took the stage and gave Americans a glimpse into his relationship with the president-elect.

“Everything great that has ever happened to me in my career, he’s been the first one to reach out and congratulate me,” White said of Trump. “And more importantly, in the hard times, he’s been the first one to reach out and let me know if there’s anything I need. And all this during a time when he had a laundry list of his own problems he was dealing with.”

“He is the best human being that I have ever known,” White added.

The longtime friend of Trump then urged Americans to “put our differences aside,” adding, “The fate of this country is tied to the fate of the president, so if you love America, you should want America’s president to be successful.”

“If he strengthens our economy, resolves conflict around the world, and makes our streets safe again, we all win,” White added. “When America’s president is respected around the world, we all win. When America succeeds, we all win. Now it’s time for us to come together as one nation: the United States. This moment will be a turning point in our history and a triumph for all Americans.”

White was just one of numerous high-profile guests to take the stage at Trump’s Victory Rally before Trump addressed the crowd. Thousands of Trump’s supporters remained in D.C. for the rally on Sunday despite the inauguration ceremony on Monday being moved indoors due to harsh weather.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
