Democrats Fear Big Balls

There’s one kind of young person that Democrats like, and there is one kind of young person that Democrats really don’t.

The kind of young person Democrats like is the theater type, a specifically performative young person who casts aspersions at everyone who is older than they are. Those people are tools of the Democratic Party. They are tools of the Left.

The Left does not wish to generate young people who are self-sufficient, who are creative, who are innovative, who are trying to build for the future. Those young people are bad. What the Left wants are young people they can use as batons to wield against the system.

The young people who are bad, according to the Left, are the people who are actually good at things. Those young people might be engineers, entrepreneurs, or innovators. “Too weird,” they say. “We can’t allow them anywhere near the levers of power.” 

This has come to a head because the Left has decided that the worst young people in existence work for Elon Musk’s DOGE. It has become a central feature of Democratic angst because there is one young person in particular, a young technologist, who is being targeted by Wired magazine and now the entire unified Left. Why?

Because this young technologist is known online as “Big Balls.”

It turns out that many of the people who are in the online meme world — which is Elon Musk’s domain, as Elon is the king of the meme world — tend to throw out silly memes and foolish nicknames for themselves.

But those same young people are using AI technology to decode incredible things, like encrypted Greek texts thousands of years old. They do genius things, but sometimes also do super stupid things like calling themselves “Big Balls” on LinkedIn.

Wired was very angry about this, reporting, “A young technologist known online as “Big Balls,” who works for Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has access to sensitive US government systems. But his professional and online history call into question whether he would pass the background check typically required to obtain security clearances, security experts tell WIRED.”

Yeah, sure. I’m sure that’s what the Left is deeply worried about — whether the fellow would pass a security clearance, the kind of security clearance that, for example, allowed Biden administration appointees to full-on leak Israeli war plans to the press.

Those security clearances have been doing a hell of a lot of work. They’ve been doing an amazing job over there.

The engineers working for Musk are typically young and incredibly smart, which is why they work for Musk. The six young men who are basically leading the charge are apparently all between the ages of 19 and 24. And many of the people on the Left have determined this to be sincerely terrible.

Yesterday, CNN contributor Kara Swisher said, “I think there is no vetting whatsoever. … You know, I could make a joke. That’s probably why he was hired for all this ridiculous nonsense and other nefarious things. But, you know, there’s an expression in technology. It’s not a — it’s a feature, not a bug.”

This is like your local HRA telling you that you’re not allowed to put an American flag on your lawn on July 4 because it might be offensive to others.

The media is just losing it over “Big Balls.” It’s just so terrible.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid was also deeply upset about “Big Balls,” saying, “He works at DOGE. He has access to U.S. government systems. His professional and online history call into question whether he would even pass a background check typically required to obtain security clearances. Security experts tell Wired he runs something called Tesla Dot Sexy, which operates a Russian website. He worked at a startup that hired convicted hackers. … We know a lot of the saints listen to the show. He called himself Big B-A-L-L-S. I won’t say the whole words. I won’t be vulgar. That’s what he calls himself.”

Remember, the things that are very offensive and upsetting to the Left do not include men who get boob jobs and jiggle their bare breasts at the White House on the lawn. Nor do they include gay guys having sex in the Senate chambers. Those aren’t offensive to the Left. That’s freedom of expression.

But a young technologist who calls himself “Big Balls” on LinkedIn? That is just so far beyond the pale. They are practically saying, “We cannot have any of that. This is a well-respected government, a well-respected government that funds the trans-ing of the children in Guatemala via the US Agency for International Development. Take us seriously.”

The entire Democratic approach to politics seems to be the meme from Arrested Development where they held up a sign saying, “We demand to be taken seriously.”

They’re offended, guys. They’re so offended.

But what are they really offended by? Are they offended that some teenager who is apparently a brilliant technologist used an obscene meme online?

No. What they’re really upset about is that the only young people they want to succeed are the performative theater kids, not the ones who actually build things or have a skill set.

David Hogg commented on this. I will refer to Hogg as “Stick-Man Hogg” from now on since he is both a stick figure of a person when it comes to his physical stature as well as his intellectual representation of Left-wing ideas. He is the same person who is now vice-chair of the DNC at the age of 24 (based on his varied accomplishments, which include getting into Harvard with a low SAT score because he went to a school where a shooting took place), who failed running a pillow company, and who has tweeted insane nonsense for years while acting like he was immune from any criticism because a school shooting took place at his high school. He tweeted, “Yeah, let’s let a 19 year old who goes by ‘bigballs’ handle the situation. Very confidence inspiring.”

Hogg is 24, and he’s never done anything of value in his entire life.

It is important to note that the relative youth of technologists is a hallmark of successful technologists. Charles Cooke of National Review pointed out that Larry Page and Sergey Brin created Google at 24; Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook in 19; Steve Jobs started Apple at 21. It’s a hallmark of genius to be productive very, very early in life.

But a hallmark of Democratic children, their child heroes, is that they are not productive. They don’t do anything useful except yell at adults. All they are is cuter versions of older Democrats at your HOA.

Take Greta Thunberg — who was nominated for the Nobel Prize — that moronic Swedish young woman whom I can make fun of now because she’s over the age of 18. She’s well over 18, even if she dresses like she’s under 18 and still wears pigtails, a braid, and pretends she is a child. She’s running around screaming to shut down capitalism, destroy it utterly, while she roots for Hamas. They nominated her for a Nobel Prize and told us she was a moral clarion because she yelled at adults.

These are the kinds of young people the Democrats support, young people who yell at adults without ever attempting to actually do anything productive.

But the productive kids who are in the back room coding, figuring out how things work, and then using those powers to find government waste and fraud? If they call themselves “Big Balls” online, shut them down.

In the end, the truth is what Democrats really want is not just young people who are theater kids. They want that lifestyle extended over the entire course of adult life. They want permanent Greta Thunbergs. They want permanent David Hoggs. They want people who never build anything and never do anything useful.

What they want are people who are perennially 16 and complaining about the world — and ruining their own lives in the process.
