Night three of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) kicks off Wednesday, and Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) will close out the night with his acceptance of the vice presidential nomination. The only question is whether or not he can get through his speech — said to focus on “his lifetime of service and his commitment to safeguarding the freedoms that we all hold dear” — without adding another whopper to his growing list of fabrications.

What’s happening?

Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) is expected to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for vice president, but before that happens, the parade of speakers is set to include former President Bill Clinton and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

John Legend is expected to perform a tribute to Prince on Wednesday as well.

According the Alex Hornbrook, executive director of the Democratic National Convention Committee, the evening will highlight “everyday Americans whose freedoms and livelihoods hinge on this election.”

Who’s speaking?

Also on tap for Wednesday  — in addition to Clinton, Buttigieg, and Walz, are House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD), Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV).

What are people saying about it?

Undercover journalist James O’Keefe teased a coming video after spending two days at the DNC in disguise.

Someone accidentally said the quiet part out loud during a breakout session with the Congressional Black Caucus: “We got 70 days to act right… After 70 days, we can go back to acting crazy.”

Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro summed up speeches from former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-IL) thusly: “The entire DNC last night was built on the premise that living your entire life as a politician paid by the taxpayers, confiscating the wealth of others, and then making bank off said politics is legitimate — and that private wealth isn’t.”

CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings said that there was still one glaring question that no one seemed prepared to answer: If Democrats controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years, how is Trump responsible for everything that’s wrong — and why should anyone believe that the person who is currently vice president and not solving problems will suddenly fix those same problems if elected president?

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
