‘Everything Is Transgender’: Trump Mocks Democrats For Defending Men In Women’s Sports

President Donald Trump took a moment on Wednesday to roast Democrats over their unwavering support for men in women’s sports, declaring that it was one of the reasons he had won re-election last November.

Trump’s administration has been leading the charge on that particular issue, signing executive orders stating first that the United States government only recognizes two genders — male and female — and second, that biological males shall not be allowed to compete on teams and in athletic events that are designated for women and girls.

Democrats in Congress have been fighting against Trump on that issue and the president paused on Wednesday — during his Oval Office meeting with Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach) Micheál Martin — to reflect on how ridiculous he thought that was, given the widespread support among everyday Americans, regardless of party affiliation, for keeping men out of women’s and girls’ spaces.

“Who would allow men to play in women’s sports? And they’re still fighting it, they’re still … It’s gotta be a 95% issue,” Trump said. “But they’re on television this morning, I see this person, a Democrat, say, ‘We should have the right … no, no. Men should not be allowed – they’re hurting women. They’re hurting women. Very badly, they’re hurting women … And they’re also demeaning women.”

“But who would want these things?” he continued. “Everything is transgender. Everybody transgender. That’s all you hear about. That’s why we won the election in record numbers.

“But very importantly, now, it is what it is, the Democrats should get with us and come up with good tax policy so that Ireland and other countries can’t take our businesses away from us,” he said, pivoting back to the topic at hand.

Trump was able to capitalize on a number of issues that crossed party lines in order to win the 2024 presidential election, from illegal immigration and the economy to radical gender ideology and men taking over women’s athletics.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
