Fairfax School Board Meeting Turns Heated as GOP Candidates Weigh In on Title IX Lawsuit

Another contentious school board meeting occurred in Northern Virginia Wednesday, this time, in Fairfax County, where the school division is suing the federal Department of Education for withholding funding because the school system has been found in violation of federal Title IX law over its policies allowing “transgender” students in girls’ facilities.

After the ugliness that pock-marked the neighboring Arlington County School Board meeting two weeks ago—when a protester held up a racist poster mocking GOP gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears—both Sears and GOP lieutenant governor candidate John Reid were at the meeting to address the Fairfax County School Board.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
