Hunter Biden Suggests Dad Was On This Drug During Debate

Hunter Biden suggested that his father, former President Joe Biden, had taken Ambien to help him sleep before his disastrous debate performance that led to him dropping out of the presidential race last summer.

The scandal-ridden younger Biden made the revelation during a three-hour interview with Andrew Callaghan’s “Channel 5” YouTube show.

“I’ll tell you what. I know exactly what happened in that debate,” Hunter Biden told the YouTube personality.

Hunter Biden appears to suggest President Joe Biden had been given Ambien before the debate last year and ended up looking like a “deer in the headlights.”

“He flew around the world, basically, the mileage that he could have flown around the world three times. He’s 81 years old. He’s tired as s***. They gave him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage, and he looks like he’s a deer in the headlights, and it feeds into every f***ing story that anybody wants to tell,” Biden said.

Ambien is the brand name for Zolpidem, which is known for its cognitive side effects, including memory loss, sleepwalking, and impairment after waking up.

Ambien was never included in any of Biden’s medical records that were released to the public, although other medications were listed.

Biden’s behavior during the last years of his presidency sparked concerns among the public that he might already be experiencing cognitive decline.

His shaky and confused performance during his June 27 debate against President Donald Trump last year threw the presidential race into chaos.

Influential Democrats, including Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), pressured Biden to abandon his reelection bid and endorse a candidate with a better chance of beating Trump.

Ultimately, Biden dropped out a few weeks later in July and endorsed Kamala Harris, who ended up losing every swing state as well as the popular vote.

Hunter Biden expressed frustration with the speculation surrounding his father’s mental state.

“If this was a conspiracy, Andrew, you know this, somehow the entirety of a White House, in which you’re literally living on top of each other has kept their mouth shut about what? What’s the conspiracy? That Joe Biden got old?” Biden said during the YouTube interview.

Earlier this month, Biden’s former doctor pleaded the Fifth before the House Oversight Committee, which subpoenaed him to testify in an investigation into the alleged cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline. On Wednesday, a Jill Biden aide also pleaded the Fifth in the same investigation.

The Biden officials’ refusal to testify has only fueled speculation about a cover-up and heightened concerns about the legitimacy of executive actions taken by Biden during his last years as president.
