Judge: Trump Must Reinstate Fired Federal Workers

The Trump administration must reinstate some fired probationary government employees, a federal judge ruled Thursday.

Six agencies must give jobs back to thousands of recently-hired employees whom President Donald Trump fired in an effort to eliminate “waste, fraud, and abuse” from the federal government by cutting the federal workforce.

U.S. District Judge William Alsup’s said employees at the Veterans Affairs, Agriculture, Defense, Energy, Interior and Treasury departments must get their jobs back.

Alsup had criticized the government for withdrawing a memo from acting Office of Personnel Management Director Charles Ezell because the move prevented him from having to testify.

“Come on, that’s a sham. Go ahead. It upsets me, I want you to know that. I’ve been practicing or serving in this court for over 50 years, and I know how do we get at the truth,” San-Francisco based Alsup said.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
