Scott Jennings Schools CNN Panel Over Response To Criminal Alien Deportations

CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings held nothing back during a Monday evening panel discussion, informing the others at the table that the American people overwhelmingly favored President Donald Trump’s plan to deport a large number of illegal immigrants.

When presented with the popular Democratic assertion — which has been parroted repeatedly by legacy media — that the American people were taken by surprise when some were caught up in ICE raids whose only crime was illegal entry into the United  States, Jennings said that the average American was neither surprised nor upset.

WATCH:

“The assertion that all American voters did not know exactly what Donald Trump is going to do — ‘Oh, they didn’t think he …’ — is totally false,” Jennings said.

“There was a mass amount of polling during the campaign. Hispanic Americans supported deportations in majority. You and I debated this many times. You claimed it wasn’t true. And then what did they do, they went and voted for Donald Trump,” Jennings continued, noting that legal immigrants had supported Trump’s proposed deportations in much larger numbers.

“And now there’s some regret,” one panelist objected, but Jennings was not convinced.

“There is no buyer’s remorse. The people who followed our laws and came here legally are more than happy to see the laws enforced,” he said over a few objections from the others at the table.

“Here’s what’s being missed, I think this is very critical,” Maria Cardona pushed back. “In a vacuum, yes, a majority of Americans do support mass deportations, Scott, but you have seen this also in polls. When you start telling them what that means —”

“Illegals leaving. They support it,” Jennings said.

“No,” Cardona objected — and then claimed that because “dreamers” or veterans could be caught up in those deportations, the best solution would be to simply grant blanket amnesty instead. “That is a win-win!”

“You’re fighting the last battle. He’s fighting the next one,” Jennings said of Trump.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
