Trump Revokes Biden’s Security Clearance, Cites Poor Mental Acuity

President Donald Trump announced on Friday evening that he was revoking former President Joe Biden’s security clearance, declaring the news in a post to his Truth Social platform.

Trump argued that Biden did not need to have continued access to any classified information now that he has exited the White House, and suggested that his “poor memory,” as mentioned in the special counsel’s report on his handling of classified documents, could potentially pose a risk going forward. He also noted that when Biden had stripped him of the ability to receive similar classified briefings in 2021, he had set the precedent for a succeeding president to take the same action once he left office.

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings. He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,” Trump posted.

“The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump also took similar action against the former intelligence officers who has signed on to a letter decrying the now-infamous Hunter Biden laptop as potentially “Russian disinformation.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
