Trump Thrashes Media Over Russia Summit Critiques: ‘It’s Incredible’

President Donald Trump ripped into legacy media outlets early on Sunday morning, saying that nothing he could do with respect to the war between Russia and Ukraine would convince them to report honestly or positively about his efforts.

Trump made the comments in a couple of posts shared first via his Truth Social platform — just 48 hours after what he’s touted as a very successful meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and one day ahead of a planned meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“It’s incredible how the Fake News violently distorts the TRUTH when it comes to me,” he began. “There is NOTHING I can say or do that would lead them to write or report honestly about me. I had a great meeting in Alaska on Biden’s stupid War, a war that should have never happened!!!”

The president continued his thoughts in a second post, adding, “If I got Russia to give up Moscow as part of the Deal, the Fake News, and their PARTNER, the Radical Left Democrats, would say I made a terrible mistake and a very bad deal. That’s why they are the FAKE NEWS!”

“Also, they should talk about the 6 WARS, etc., I JUST STOPPED!!!,” he concluded, referencing negotiations with a number of nations in recent weeks that have resulted in ceasefires and peace agreements rather than continued hostilities.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee — who is currently serving as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel — hinted at a similar media response in February of 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic was beginning. During a Fox News interview, he argued that Trump “could personally suck the virus out of the 60,000 people in the world, suck it out of their lungs” and “swim to the bottom of the ocean and spit it out, and he would be accused of pollution for messing up the ocean.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
