UN Exhibit Shows Rubble, Bodies In Gaza. They Don’t Mention Hamas Or October 7 Massacre.

A photo exhibit in the United Nations headquarters in New York revolving around the situation in Gaza makes no mention of the terrorist group Hamas or its massacre of more than 1200 people in Israel on October 7, 2023.

“Gaza, Palestine: A Crisis of Humanity, a Cry for Justice” shows buildings that have been destroyed and the bodies of Gazans killed in Israel’s retaliatory war against Hamas.

“This was written by the Palestinian mission to the United Nations and in this long, long text, you won’t find the word ‘Hamas’ in it,” Jonathan Harounoff, international spokesman for Israel’s mission to the UN, told Jewish News Syndicate. “You won’t find any mention of the perpetrators of the attacks of Oct. 7, 2023. It’s very selective in the history it is trying to portray, and the exhibit includes graphic imagery of everything that took place following Oct. 7, but they never mention what actually happened to lead to all of this.”

“The Palestinians’ diplomatic terrorism continues,” Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, wrote on X. “This week, a one-sided pro-Palestinian exhibition that is detached from reality opened at the main entrance to the UN. When will the UN stop spending millions of dollars on spreading lies and instead pass a moral resolution that condemns Hamas and calls for the release of our hostages? Disgraceful!”

The United Nations’ obvious prejudice against Israel has been demonstrated in numerous ways over the decades. As recently as late last month, a courageous woman from Kenya who serves as the United Nations Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide was fired after she stood up to the Israel-haters in the U.N. and refused to declare that Israel had committed “genocide” in its war against Hamas, as The Wall Street Journal reported.

“Alice Nderitu said Israel’s campaign in Gaza doesn’t meet the definition of genocide. She was fired,” The Wall Street Journal editorial board wrote. “On Wednesday the U.N. will refuse to renew the contract of Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the Kenyan who is the Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide.”

The U.N. Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices issued a report in November accusing Israel of “the possibility of genocide in Gaza and an apartheid system in the West Bank.”

“The committee is taking its cues from Austrian Volker Turk, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, who has spent the past year assailing Israel,” the WSJ editorial board noted. “His claims are often echoed by U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Israel’s critics. … Ms. Nderitu serves at the pleasure of Mr. Gutterres, and Mr. Turk and the anti-Israel faction want her out.”

As UN Watch has noted, “From 2015 through 2024, the UN General Assembly has adopted 164 resolutions on Israel and 84 on other countries. … The UN Watch Database also documents that from 2006 through 2024, the UN Human Rights Council has adopted 108 resolutions against Israel, 44 against Syria, 15 against Iran, 8 against Russia, and 3 against Venezuela.”

In 2017, the anti-Israel United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which had used the picture of a young Arab girl standing amid rubble in Syria in late January 2015, used the same image to pretend the girl was a young girl in Gaza oppressed by the Israelis.
