Vance Hits Kamala Over MAGA-Morphosis: ‘Adopting All Of Donald Trump’s Policies’

Senator JD Vance (R-OH) jabbed at Vice President Kamala Harris from the campaign trail on Tuesday, mocking her supposed dramatic shift from being the most liberal sitting U.S. senator to voicing support for Trump policies like no taxes on tips and a secure border.

Vance, who is campaigning to be vice president alongside former President Donald Trump, joked with a crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan, about Harris’ apparent tendency to wait and see how a Trump policy is received and then announce her own “new” policy that mirrors it.

WATCH:

“I read a story this morning that her advisers are considering just copying all of Donald Trump’s policies,” Vance joked, prompting laughs from the crowd. “They’re more popular. In fact, I’ve heard that for her debate in just a couple of weeks, she’s going to put on a navy suit, a long red tie, and adopt the slogan,’Make America Great Again.'”

The former president also alluded to Harris’ tendency to copy him during a speech on the economy in mid-August.

WATCH:

“Kamala Harris won’t end the economic crisis, she will only make it worse,” Trump told voters in North Carolina. “And why hasn’t she done it? She talks about it, she’s doing a plan, you know, she’s going to announce it this week maybe.”

“She’s waiting for me to announce it so she can copy it,” he concluded, and the crowd roared with laughter.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
