Gangs, Cartels, and Terrorists Place Bounties on ICE and Border Patrol Agents

Gangs, cartels, and known terrorist organizations have put bounties on the heads of specific Immigration Customs Enforcement agents and border patrol officers, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed Sunday morning.

“It’s about $2,000 to kidnap them and $10,000 to kill them,” Noem explained on “Fox & Friends.” “They’ve released their pictures and sent them between their networks.”

These gangs, cartels, and known terrorist organizations are “being extremely effective” and they want to take these agents down because they “are keeping them from making money off their criminal networks.”

“Make no mistake: This isn’t just about protesting free speech or that they don’t like that people out here are upholding the laws of our country,” Noem said. “They’re actually going out there and saying, ‘Kill these people, and we’ll give you this much money to do it.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is helping the DHS “dig into the funding of the operations, [and] where they’re getting the money,” Noem shared.

All the protesters wear the same gas masks and carry the same kind of signs, she noted. Notably, many of the signs were printed with the same font and “look like they came from the same company.”

“To be that organized and have the same equipment to push back on law and order, you know that somebody is funding them and that they’re being paid,” Noem said.

Noem called out Democratic Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson for his city being “a war zone.”

On Saturday, Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported Border Patrol agents in nearby Broadview, Ill., were rammed and boxed in by 10 cars vehicle, including a woman with a semi-automatic gun, then surrounded by a large crowd of hostile protesters. Melugin confirmed with multiple law enforcement sources Sunday that “Chicago police officers were instructed by their Chief of Patrol to NOT respond” to the agents’ call for help.

According to Noem, local officials aren’t even letting ICE agents and border patrol officers use restrooms in government facilities.

“Those men and women were telling us they have to figure out even where they can go sit down for five minutes to have lunch or to use a restroom throughout their shift and their break,” explained Noem after having been on the ground with these agents in Chicago two days ago. Noem posted on X Friday that she and her team were “blocked from accessing the Village of Broadview Municiple Building.”

Chicago has created a difficult situation, Noem said, but she was encouraged by how much “these officers love their jobs.”

These officers went right from Los Angeles to Chicago, and they’ve been away from their families for months, she explained.

But they know their “families don’t have a chance unless President [Donald] Trump cleans up our streets,” Noem said, so “they’re true believers in this country and where it can be.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
