‘That Guy Is A Disaster’: Trump Rips Into Another Blue-State Governor With Presidential Dreams

President Donald Trump took a swipe at Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL) as he touted the success of his crime crackdown in Washington, D.C. — and discussed the possibility of sending National Guard troops to other cities in the hopes of seeing similar results.

Trump began by saying that it was not his intent to have the National Guard “barge in on” cities — and that it would be better if mayors or governors who clearly needed help would ask for it — but that the results in the nation’s capital spoke for themselves.

“You really want to be asked to go, you know,” he began. “I hate to barge in on a city and then be treated horribly by corrupt politicians and bad politicians, like a guy like Pritzker. He ought to spend more time at the gym, actually.”

“That guy is a disaster,” he continued, swinging at Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) and legacy media as well. “Gavin Newsom’s a disaster. When we went — we saved Los Angeles, you wouldn’t have been able to have the Olympics in Los Angeles, you’re barely able to have it now. They did lose 25,000 houses to a fire that should have never occurred because they didn’t let the water come down from the Pacific Northwest, which you guys don’t want to write about.”

Trump pivoted back to the crime issue, adding, “I don’t like going to a town, a city, a place — a state, and then be criticized by some corrupt or incompetent governor where crime is rampant. Like take a look at D.C. — crime was rampant, it was at the all-time worst. It got really bad during the Biden four years, and then I have a mayor stand up and say how crime has reached a 30-year low.”

After a pause and a glare at the gathered member of the press, Trump repeated, “Thirty-year low? People are being killed left and right. It’s not a 30-year low.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
