Trump Delighted To Learn Sydney Sweeney Is A Republican: ‘Now I Love Her Ad’

As President Donald Trump prepared to return to Washington, D.C. from New Jersey on Sunday, he delightedly answered when asked about actress Sydney Sweeney’s new ad campaign and her political affiliation.

“Mr. President, actress Sydney Sweeney came out this weekend that she was a registered Republican. Any thoughts on that?” a reporter asked him, adding, “She’s a very hot actress right now. “

“She’s a registered Republican?” Trump queried.  When the reporter confirmed it, Trump responded, “Oh, now I love her ad. Is that right? Is Sydney Sweeney? Yes. You’d be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That’s what I wouldn’t have known. But I’m glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.”

Left-wing website BuzzFeed reported that Sweeney was a Republican on Saturday after leftists went berserk over her ad campaign for American Eagle jeans. One spot featured Sweeney in various seductive poses while saying she had “good jeans,” and the double entendre with the word “genes” catalyzed leftists to label the ad as racist, noting that Sweeney is white, has blond hair, and blue eyes.

In one of the ads, Sweeney states, “Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue.”

The Daily Wire reviewed records that show a Sydney B. Sweeney is a registered Republican in Florida. The middle name of Sweeney, the actress, is reportedly Bernice. Additionally, the date of registration is June 2024, the same time it was reported that the actress purchased a $13.5 million home in Summerland Key, Florida. The registration reviewed by The Daily Wire named Summerland Key as the city where the registrant resides.

American Eagle responded to the furor by issuing a simple statement: “’Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
