Trump Names ‘Probably Favored’ Candidate to Carry on His Legacy

President Donald Trump has named his vice president, JD Vance, as the favored Republican nominee for 2028.

Trump was asked at the signing of an executive order establishing an Olympics task force whether Vance was his natural successor to the “Make America Great Again” brand.

“Well, I think most likely,” he said. “In all fairness, he’s the vice president.”

“Certainly, he’s doing a great job,” he added, “and he would be probably favored at this point.”

Trump also hinted at a possible future ticket pairing.

“I think Marco [Rubio] is also somebody that maybe would get together with JD in some form,” Trump said.

But Trump said he has several other talented Cabinet members who could fill the position.

“We have incredible people, some of the people on the stage right here,” he said. “It’s too early, obviously, to talk about it.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
