‘We Will Kill You’: Senior Trump Official Lays Out New Counterterrorism Strategy

Sebastian Gorka, senior director for counterterrorism for President Donald Trump, is “recalibrating” the whole intelligence community toward one message, he said.

“The No. 1 thing the president and [National Security Advisor Mike] Waltz cares about, whichever region of the world you’re talking about,” he told The Daily Signal, “is whether it [that region] is being used to plan and plot mass casualty attacks on the United States or against our servicemen anywhere in the world.”

If it is, Gorka said, “We are going to have a counterterrorism policy that affects that capacity to detect and to neutralize those threats before they ever occur.”

Gorka said America’s counterterrorism strategy should be aimed at guaranteeing another 9/11 does not occur.

Trump inherited a “recrudescent global Jihadi threat” from the Biden administration, according to Gorka, who served as deputy assistant to the president and strategist in the first Trump White House.

“The Jihadi threat is increased because of the feckless lack of leadership of the Biden administration,” he said. “Not only did we open our borders to any malefactor who wanted to come into our territory, we also had billions of dollars that were given to nations like Iran that are state sponsors of terrorism.”

Gorka said the second Trump administration has already carried out at least half a dozen counterterrorism missions in its first month.

“The good news is we now have a commander in chief again who’s deadly serious about what has to be done,” he continued.

After ordering military strikes on ISIS terrorists in Somalia at the beginning of February, Gorka said Trump sent a strong message to all terrorists, saying, “We will find you and we will kill you.”

He also said the military’s recruitment numbers are skyrocketing because its leaders, people like Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and FBI Director Kash Patel, are united by love of country, not ideology or skin color.

“This is what is missed by ‘the establishment,’ the likes of Mitch McConnell, and the left wing, and the establishment media,” he said.

According to Gorka, the establishment media also misunderstood Trump’s plans to rebuild the Gaza Strip.

“It’s not about gold-plated hotel towers in Gaza,” he said. “It’s about doing what? Stimulating a conversation. Immediately, we have certain nations in the region who are allegedly angry that President Trump dared talk about Gaza like that.”

“But what happened three days later? Those nations were saying—after 50 years of doing nothing for that region—saying, ‘OK, maybe we should be involved in helping to rebuild that region.’” Gorka continued, “If you’re not familiar with the way the president operates, I tell everyone, whether you love President Trump, whether you dislike him, you have to understand him.”

Regarding the war in Ukraine, he said Trump is the one man who can secure peace after years of war with Russia.

“If you want the war to end, you have to be at the table,” he said. “Looks like Russia is at the table. Our envoy is at the table. President Trump is ready to broker.”

“So, if Kyiv would like to see this tragedy end,” he said, “then it would make sense for them to be at the table as well as soon as possible.”

From peace in Ukraine to peace in the Middle East to securing the border—and even to getting a man on Mars—America is back, Gorka said.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
