‘Your Countries Are Going to Hell’: Trump Calls Out UN for ‘Top Political Issue of Our Time’

President Donald Trump on Tuesday blamed the United Nations for creating problems instead of solving them.

While addressing the United National General Assembly in New York City, Trump said the U.N. is responsible for creating the “No. 1 political issue of our time, the crisis of uncontrolled migration.”

Trump painted a bleak picture resulting from mass migration.

“Your countries are going to hell,” he told the General Assembly.

“Your prisons are filled with so-called asylum-seekers who repaid kindness—and that’s what they did—they repaid kindness with crime,” he contended.

Trump said the U.N. is funding “an assault on Western countries and their borders.”

“In 2024, the U.N. budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying to the United States,” he said. “The U.N. also provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit cards to illegal aliens on their way to infiltrate our southern border. This is totally unacceptable. The U.N. is supposed to stop invasions—not create them and finance them.”

The time has come to “end the failed experiment of open borders,” Trump said.

“In the United States, we reject the idea that mass numbers of people from foreign lands can be permitted to travel halfway around the world, trample our borders, violate our sovereignty, cause unmitigated crime, and deplete our social safety net,” the president said.

The president encouraged other countries to stand up for their citizens as America has.

“Europe is in serious trouble. They have been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like the world has never seen,” Trump said. “And because they choose to be politically correct, they are doing nothing about it. Both the immigration and their suicidal energy ideas will be the death of Western Europe if something is not done immediately.”

For countries to maintain their unique beauty, they must have borders, Trump said.

“Proud nations must be allowed to protect their communities and prevent their societies from being overwhelmed by people they have never seen before,” Trump said. “Where migrants have violated laws, lodged false asylum claims, or claimed refugee status for illegitimate reasons, they should in many cases be sent home. And while we will always have a big heart for places and people that are struggling, the truly compassionate answer is to solve the problems in their countries, not to create new problems in our countries.”

Trump said the U.N. must reject the globalist agenda.

“The entire globalist concept of asking successful, industrialized nations to inflict pain on themselves, and radically disrupt their entire societies, must be rejected completely and totally,” he said.

The president touted the United States’ work to shut down uncontrolled migration by detaining and deporting illegal immigrants.

“This was a humanitarian act for all involved—and it was also a historic victory against human trafficking throughout the region,” Trump said. “Joe Biden’s policies empowered murderous gangs, human smugglers, child traffickers, drug cartels, and prisoners. The previous administration also lost nearly 300,000 children who were trafficked into the United States on their watch—many of whom have been raped, exploited, and abused, with many others who are missing or dead. Any system that results in the mass trafficking of children is inherently evil—yet that is exactly what the globalist migration agenda has done.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
