A Week in the Washington Toxic Swamp Clean-Up

Washington, D.C. has become so toxic and corroded in recent years that it should be named an EPA Superfund site.
But President Donald Trump’s new crew has put on their hazmat suits and headed straight into the thick of it, with last week offering several examples of where the crew is hoping to clean up.
Since we’re talking about hazmat suits, let’s start with this.
The White House Cocaine
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced last week the Bureau is reviewing the investigation into the bag of cocaine discovered in the White House in 2023. The Secret Service and FBI sniffed around for a couple days, declared they couldn’t figure out who did it, and buried the story like it was spent plutonium.
Bongino, a former Secret Service agent, never bought the story. And why would he? Somebody brought a white powder into the most secure and important building in the world and the Secret Service and the planet’s greatest investigative body couldn’t find out who dunnit?
The case smelled from the start. This is where the hazmat suits come in. The Biden White House originally explained emergency vehicles being at the White House by saying a suspicious white substance had been found “on the property.” The idea? To leave the impression the substance was found outside.
The public didn’t get the truth until the website OpenMhz posted a radio transmission of D.C. Fire Dept. hazmat personnel revealing the field test indicated the powder was cocaine and that it was found inside the White House.
The goal now is not just discovering who the nose candy belonged to, but who in the White House, Secret Service, and FBI tried to ensure we wouldn’t find out who.
J6 Pipe Bomber and Dobbs Supreme Court Leak
Bongino also announced renewed investigations into the J6 pipe bomber and who leaked the Dobbs Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.
With the J6 pipe bomber, again the question is not just “Who?” but “Who covered it up?” Citing just one example, Steve D’Antuono, the former FBI assistant director who oversaw the pipe bomb investigation, testified to Congress that the FBI received corrupted data from one of the cell carriers that most likely would have contained the identity of the pipe bomber. So, sorry, American people, we don’t know who the bad guy is.
Not so, according to Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chair of the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, “Every major cell carrier responded and confirmed that they did not provide the FBI corrupted data,” Loudermilk said in January. “Additionally, every major cell carrier confirmed they were never notified that the FBI had any issues accessing the data.”
Cue ominous music.
Video Will Demonstrate Jeffrey Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself
Bongino did throw cold water on the belief that child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself. He says the bureau will be releasing video demonstrating beyond all doubt Epstein was not murdered. However, it’s not video of Epstein hanging himself, only video showing nobody entering or leaving Epstein’s cell.
Even if the video satisfies the suspicion Epstein was killed off, the Swamp questions remain: Who’s been making sure none of his clients have been charged? Was Epstein working for foreign or American intelligence, hence his original sweetheart deal and the stonewalling now? Should we be concerned that the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey has been heading the nonexistent prosecutions?
And speaking of Comey …
One Poisonous Swamp Snake
Bongino told Fox & Friends that his team has uncovered what he called “bags” of classified material that had been “hidden” during the Comey regime. “You’re going to be stunned,” he promised.
How did corrupt politicos like Comey hide information, not only from congressional oversight but also investigating agents, even Special Counsel John Durham? They labeled anything they didn’t want anyone to see “Prohibited Access.” This classification meant that the information wouldn’t show up in the Bureau’s Sentinel case management system. Not just “inaccessible,” The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland explains, but “invisible.”
For example, Special Counsel Robert Mueller stamped the entire Trump-Russia Collusion investigation “Prohibited Access” to help cover the tracks of what really went on.
As Cleveland noted, this resulted in the FBI illegally withholding exculpatory information from defendants, to say nothing of concealing information that could have blown the FBI’s spying and sabotaging effort against President Donald Trump sky high.
Here’s an example.
An FBI memo declassified last week indicates Nellie Ohr, an intelligence veteran and researcher for Steele Dossier writers Fusion GPS—and wife of the Russia Collusion-connected former DOJ official Bruce Ohr—repeatedly lied under oath to Congress about her involvement in the Trump-Russia hoax, including her communications with DOJ officials.
Her punishment for lying to Congress after the FBI uncovered those lies? Nothing. Zilch.
Consider that former Trump National Security Adviser Gen. Michael Flynn was found by FBI agents who interviewed him not to have lied … and still he got charged. Why?
FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, who interviewed Flynn revealed in a letter the case remained open only because of pressure from “the 7th Floor.” The “7th Floor” referred to the top reaches of the FBI, specifically Comey and former Deputy Director-turned-cable talking head Andrew McCabe.
Let justice be done though the book contracts and TV deals fall.
And may Trump’s cleanup crew continue to expose all the toxic, noxious actions of Deep State players, delivering us only the crisp, clean truth.
